SailfishOS 2.2.0 in aantocht

Het is alweer een tijdje stil rondom releases bij Jolla. SailfishOS 3 is ‘beloofd’ voor later dit jaar, SailfishOS 2 is nog steeds in ontwikkeling. Maar de regelmaat is soms wat ver te zoeken. Ook de tijd tussen early-access-release en final is op z’n zachts gezegd variabel.

Vandaag verscheen er een kort bericht op TJC:

Met andere woorden: morgen af graag.

De gebruikers van de Nederlandse vertaling hoeven niet te vrezen, vertalers nthn en dylan-van-assche hebben de vertaling alweer op orde gemaakt. Maar qua planning en communicatie had Jolla dit toch echt beter moeten doen.

Maar, hopelijk is de conclusie dat de volgende release aanstaande is.
